Our Most magical time of year is when the Christmas Lights get switched on in November as it transforms our little site to a magical Christmas Village.
The lodges are centrally heated & well equipped for everything you should need, so perfect for that little romantic retreat into the woods
You can travel to one of the nearby Christmas Markets,
See the magnificant decorations or visit the real Father Christmas at Castle Howard -
(A famous Statley home as seen in Brideshead Revisited & the coming Death at Pembley)
Have a cosy meal by an open fire in a local pub,
Sing Christmas Carols at Rievualx Abbey
Ice skate at the outdoor IceFactor just outside York,
or even treat the children to a Santa Train ride
As we are open 365 days a year including Christmas and New Year,
you can come and be enchanted in a stay in a cozy warm cabin
